Rising Spirit changes names and locations:
In 2006, Gwinnett College acquired the
Rising Spirit Institute of Natural Health with
a vision of increasing the course offerings at
the school and bringing its top notch massage
program to the Gwinnett campus. We are proud to
announce that we have made these changes.
New Programs: In 2007, we were
approved by ACCSCT and the State of Georgia to
offer Medical Assisting and Medical Office Administration
at this campus. These programs are now under way.
New Location: Because of our
expanded offerings, we realized that we needed
more space to offer our programs. In 2008, we
started offering courses at our new Sandy Springs
campus located at Roswell Road and Abernathy Road
at 6690 Roswell Road, Sandy Springs.
English as a Second Language:
In 2008, we recevied approval from ACICS to offer
English as a Second Language for non-English speaking
students. Our first class started on January 15th
with over 35 students. Classes start once per
quarter and will be starting in Sandy Springs
in February.
